21 Day Fix Containers Explained!
The one thing I have noticed when talking to people is there is a lot of confusion around the containers so I wanted to share with you HOW the containers work and WHY they are absolutely amazing – no matter which program you are doing.
- Each container represents a food group. Your current weight, and weight loss goals, will determine how many of each food group you can eat in a given day. You control which food groups you eat with which meal.
- The containers fit a LOT of food, if you are using them right. For example, the purple container is fruit. If you try to put in a large strawberry you can fit in about 3-4 strawberries – but you are going to starve. STUFF those containers. Cut up your fruit into smaller sizes. The containers aren’t designed to starve you – they are designed to make sure you are getting enough of the right nutrients in every serving.
- There is no guessing! You know what you need to eat everyday. The hardest part is figuring out when you are going to eat all the food you are allowed!
- You aren’t limited – this isn’t a fad diet, an Atkins diet, a gluten free diet – it IS NOT a diet. You can have your sauces, your dressings, your oils, your meats, your carbs, even your alcohol! It is about moderation and making healthier choices.
The #1 reason I failed at every program I tried before was because I would resort to only eating plain chicken and veggies. It worked well for a month and then BAM – binge! I felt tired, hungry, deprived. These containers have SAVED my life – seriously. I eat chicken Parmesan, pasta, bread, tacos, teriyaki stir fry – the list goes on. The key part to this whole thing is I EAT. There have been several occasions where I couldn’t finish my meal! These containers did more than help me lose weight. They have taught me what to eat, how to eat, and how much to eat. Failure is no longer an option – and it never will be again. I have NO reason to fail. I am not deprived, I am not hungry, I’m not tired. I am satisfied, full of energy, and healthy.
