You’re a new mom and the last thing you have time for is a workout! Your schedule is already filled with diaper changes, hourly feedings, nap schedules, feeding schedules, cleaning, and just living life in general. A trip to the gym? Forget about it! A personal trainer? Too expensive! So where does that leave you?

Best Workouts for New Moms
My favorite workout for new moms is the 21 Day Fix. The 21 Day Fix is a 21 Day workout that consists of 30 minute workouts and 7 color coded food containers. The workouts are 30 minutes in length and combine cardio with weight training. The 7 color coded food containers each resemble a food group. Your weight and fitness goal will determine how many servings of each you have in a given day. With this program you get the workout and the meal plan – it is easy to follow and effective. On average, women lose anywhere from 10-35 lbs in the first cycle of the 21 Day Fix. This was the first workout I did after having twins plus a third child within a year-and-a-half. You will lose weight, drop inches, and add muscle for a leaner, more tone version of you.
A great benefit to the 21 Day Fix, aside from the results, is the Beachbody Community. Which program is best for me?
The 21 Day Fix and Insanity Max30 are two completely different workouts. If you haven’t worked out in a while, and don’t already follow a healthy eating plan, the 21 Day Fix is a great place to start. It teaches you how to eat, what to eat, when to eat, and how to workout. It works out all major muscle groups and will help you to lose weight and get fit. If you are already fairly athletic and like high intensity workouts, then Insanity Max30 is a great option. It doesn’t get more intense then this!
