21 Day Fix Workout Review

There are two 21 Day Fix workouts. There is the 21 Day Fix and the 21 Day Fix Extreme, both will be reviewed in this article.

21 Day Fix Review

The 21 Day Fix is a great workout for someone who is just starting to workout and eat healthy. It is designed so you can get in, get out, and get on with your day. For 21 Days you will be required to workout for ONLY 30 minutes a day! The program will come with 6 different workouts:

  1. Total Body Cardio Fix – Keep your heart rate up and your metabolism revved high long after the workout is over.
  2. Upper Fix – Targeted resistance training helps shape your chest, back, shoulders, arms, and abs.
  3. Lower Fix – Firm and tone your entire lower body while you blast fat and burn calories.
  4. Pilates Fix – Strengthen your core, elongate your muscles, and firm your hips and thighs.
  5. Cardio Fix – Get your heart pumping and your body moving as you melt away the pounds.
  6. Yoga Fix – Improve your balance, flexibility, and strength as you help relax your muscles.

The 21 Day Fix combines weights with cardio making a very effective workout. While it is considered a high intensity cardio – it is achievable. It isn’t as extreme as other workouts, like Insanity, so it allows you to build muscle and lose weight at a steady pace.

Another HUGE benefit to the 21 Day Fix are the containers. Beachbody was GENIUS when they developed this system. I have since moved on from the 21 Day Fix to another Beachbody program but I still use the containers. The 21 Day Fix workout program will come with 7 color-coded containers:

  • Green—Veggies
  • Purple—Fruits
  • Red—Proteins
  • Yellow—Carbs
  • Blue—Healthy Fats
  • 2 Orange—Seeds & Dressings
  • Shakeology Shaker Cup—Drinks

Your weight and fitness goal will determine how many of each container you are allowed to eat each day. This program takes the guessing out of portion control. The best part? There is NO starving on this diet! There were days I would have to force myself to cram in extra snacks just to fit all the food in.

21 Day Fix Extreme Workout Review

The 21 Day Fix Extreme is similar to the 21 Day Fix, but a step up. The cardio is more intense. I usually suggest the 21 Day Fix Extreme after 1-2 rounds of the 21 Day Fix have been completed. The 21 Day Fix Extreme is a great program to start with if you are looking for something fast-paced but not too extreme. The results happen fast with this program – you will shed inches and lose weight.

For 21 Days you will be required to workout for ONLY 30 minutes a day! The program will come with 6 different workouts:

  1. Plyo Fix Extreme – An explosive lower-body workout that uses jumping and resistance to torch calories and sculpt muscles.
  2. Upper Fix Extreme – By alternating opposing muscle groups, this no-rest upper-body workout will help shred your chest, back, shoulders, and arms.
  3. Pilates Fix Extreme – Using a resistance band for every exercise, this intense mat workout works the entire body, placing emphasis on the core.
  4. Lower Fix Extreme – Glutes, quads, hamstrings, and calves will get stronger, leaner, and more defined with challenging resistance work.
  5. Cardio Fix Extreme – Combining weighted cardio moves with traditional metabolic training intervals keeps your heart rate soaring.
  6. Yoga Fix Extreme – A fast-paced flow yoga class, combining strength, balance, flexibility, and power.
